The role of Nike digital commerce is to drive the most compelling digital consumer experiences – fueled by insights and data – to accelerate profitable, member-led growth across all Nike platforms (Nike App, nike.com, SNKRS, Nike Running Club, and Nike Training Club. Within this, the Digital Business Director leads the Business Offense team, which orchestrate the cross-functional offense required to ensure Nike’s internal matrix delivers on our digital growth ambitions for the EMEA marketplace!

What You’ll Work On
This role is less about the digital consumer experience, and more about the drumbeat of driving commercial results. If our digital business were a congress, this role would be the speaker of the house! Here’s a sample of what you’ll do:
- Lead and coach the NDDC Business team to bring our commercial drumbeat to life, through ownership and delivery of key commercial processes for our 31+ markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa
- Drive clear prioritization and execution of commercial immediate, midterm, and long-term initiatives
- Spearhead our day-to-day business offense, ensuring the necessary actions and optimizations are in place to responsively deliver quality commercial growth in the immediate term (from setting the month/quarter forecast to delivering the month/quarter results)
- Drive mid-term optimisation of the things that enable our commercial excellence, for example, maintain and refine a clear understanding of commercial levers, partner with our insights and reporting product teams to ensure business teams have the right information, refine processes, improve communication channels, etc
- Co-create and lead key strategic initiatives alongside the digital leadership team, in each case rallying a cross-functional team to identify and implement a comprehensive program of longer-term improvement opportunities (across people, processes and tools). Examples for FY24 include:

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
In this role you will be part of the Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) Growth team and work closely with teammates across the wider digital business such as Consumer Direct Marketing, Insights & Analytics, Member Growth, Demand & Supply Management/Planning, Finance, and Digital Operations.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience (e.g. digital/ecommerce, analytics, commercial management and/or strategy consulting with direct-to-consumer businesses)
- Proven experience in team leadership: Uniting cross-functional teams around shared goals, and the ability to create a collaborative team environment where a diverse set of backgrounds, skills and perspectives are brought together to achieve results
- Deep expertise in direct digital ecosystems and metrics; prior experience driving trade or owning a P&L is an advantage
- Master of structured problem solving through to definition and activation of tangible solutions/next steps
- A positive, energetic attitude with a bias for action
- Outstanding stakeholder skills, including navigating the Nike matrix, facilitating complex decision-making and making persuasive presentations to senior management
