DIB Program Manager – EMEA Remote

The DIB Program Manager will be instrumental in driving the culture at Degreed. In this role, you will be instrumental in working with business partners, People Team, BRG leaders, employees, and our internal, cross-functional teams to collaboratively deliver on Degreed’s DIB strategies and mission. In addition, the Program Manager is a doer who pushes boundaries of excellence to help break down barriers, helping all to understand that inclusion and belonging are everyone’s job. The Program Manager is also an innovator who continuously thinks about our employees, clients, partners, and community needs, while accepting personal accountability for making things happen.

This role will report to the SVP Global Business Transformation & Strategic Initiatives & Executive Officer for Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB).

Day in the Life

  • Manage the day to day Inclusion & Diversity execution plan and support program objectives.
  • Identify and execute global programs to raise awareness on key opportunities; drive key stakeholder engagement: drive change in cultural norms and practices; build inclusive work policies and practices working in partnership with the People team
  • Support and align Business Resources Group (BRGs) programming while driving our corporate Diversity & Belonging strategic initiatives
  • Effectively manage change to build employee support for and adoption of our diversity and belonging practices, including creating and implementing communications plans as well as driving website updates and progress reports as required
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, senior leadership and BRGs

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of proven work experience managing Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and people teams.
  • High emotional intelligence is important in this role – you will be dealing with sensitive topics and will need to be able to manage key relationships effectively.
  • Strong communication skills that demonstrate social intelligence and cultural curiosity
  • Possess good judgement and discretion, capable of making right on-brand decisions when called for, and know when to seek approval.
  • Work independently, but a team player, eager to collaborate and support others.
  • Ability to multitask, solutions oriented, fast-learner who can quickly adapt to new tools and technologies as well as changing environments and priorities.
  • Highly organized, detail focused, results-driven and have the ability to handle stress and last-minute, urgent requests.

Work Environment & Physical DemandsDegreed is a remote-first company, however our roles are open to in-office or flex work if you live in a city with a physical office location (when it is safe to return to the office). This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our US and International colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), email, and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a lap computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity machinery as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, and must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication.
