EMEA Senior Marketing Manager – Lifestyle & Kids

JOB MISSION:

As the EMEA Senior Marketing Manager – Lifestyle & Kids you will be responsible leading in the planning, development and execution of the lifestyle marketing strategy for the EMEA region. Ensuring the brand meets its commercial objectives and builds a consumer first journey across all areas of the business from brand, wholesale, DTC and partnerships.

You will ensure alignment closely with the Global, Regional and local Marketing teams, this is a leading role in the brand proposition in Europe, with a key focus on lifestyle.

Reporting into the EMEA Marketing Director and working closely with the Global Lifestyle and Brand Marketing teams, the position will be responsible for several direct reports with overall team management across the wider EMEA Marketing teams.

This role can be based in a number of locations in Europe, we are flexible with where this role can be based. Frequent travel will be required across Globally.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead strategic lifestyle planning for the EMEA region and work closely with EMEA merchandising teams to align the strategy and focus on regional specificities and key opportunities
  • Accountable for how lifestyle brand, marketing and commercial programs are executed in the EMEA region
  • Ensure the brand is represented in must-win areas and that consumer influence is aligned to brand values
  • Influence wholesale marketing strategic work stream as a cascade of the wider business plan, continually analyzing sales data and performance of activity to build upon
  • Work closely with sales and trade marketing to channel investment and guide direction of support plans, holding final approval for initiatives
  • Overarching accountability for delivery of major investments across collaborations, cultural moments and game plan initiatives
  • Oversee regional Entertainment and influencer marketing strategy, ensuring team members have the necessary resources to plan strategically
  • Establish and lead a best-in-class team across areas of accountability, ensure robust talent management and development plans are achieved and executed
  • Lead EMEA team’s approach to key cultural moments, including working with multiple agencies and partners to ensure best impact
  • Support execution of EMEA-wide energy and collaboration strategy with a key focus in building meaningful long-term relationships with key partners as well as identifying new opportunities
  • Work with global brand team to influence global campaigns and ensure they are relevant and impactful for the EMEA region
  • Co-Lead MIUK campaign and creative, working with agencies and global teams to ensure best in class campaigns are delivered
  • Play key strategic role in aligning with global teams across lifestyle, kids, energy and EIM to ensure EMEA region delivers best in class campaigns and activations
  • Supporting partnership relations to leverage the investment through blended opportunities, incremental revenue opportunities and new business
  • Oversee EMEA lifestyle seeding strategy
  • Work with data intelligence & ROI reports to ensure all investments are appropriately measured, reported and evaluated for future marketing investments
  • Establish strong links, cross-functional relationships and efficient workflow with sales, marketing, customer service and product teams
  • Manage best-in-class presentations to all levels of internal and external stakeholders and provide structured follow-up and reporting
  • Hold accountability for the management of partner relationships, including; creative agency, media, PR & social agency and other partners
  • Lead retailer business reviews, communicating brand proposition and identifying gaps & opportunities in the market
  • Oversee implementation of EMEA-wide kids strategy, be creative and innovative/initiate ideas for the desired audience

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Previous practical marketing experience – leading a brand & commercial function
  • Experience in team management, including growing team, coaching, developing and mentoring
  • Experience of agency management and content-led channels across social, PR, influencer, advertising, creative
  • Extensive network in energy space + experience of leading collaboration projects
  • Extensive experience in the sports fashion industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the wholesale landscape including detailed knowledge of tiering
  • Evidence of strategic marketing planning plus gathering and comprehensively using consumer insights and market data to inform strategies and direction
  • Highly creative with experience of idea and content generation. Passion for delivering best in class customer experience through all touchpoints
  • High-level social skills with ability to work & communicate across senior stakeholders, partners, customers
  • Proactive, enthusiastic approach and ability to multi-task

  • Possess a high level of commercial acumen; using data to inform strategic action and management of significant budgets
  • Ability to travel up to 40% (Europe / US)
