What will you do?
You will ensure that customers have a great experience in our store this summer! We are looking for holiday co-workers for the following departments:
- Logistics: Replenishment team (05:00 – 16:00) and Order picking (15:00 – 00:00). What does Nikola do in the replenishmentteam?
- IKEA Food: Kitchen staff, SFM & bistro, restaurant (07:00 – 22:00). Marvin works in the restaurant.
What can you expect from IKEA?
- A friendly team with nice colleagues.
- In addition to a gross hourly wage of at least €16.80 including holiday pay & 13th month (excluding, it is €14.48), you will receive nice extras such as allowances for early mornings, evenings, and weekends that can go up to 100%. (Note: if you are not yet 18 years old, you will earn the youth wage).
Who are you?
- During the weeks when many of our employees are on a well-deserved vacation, we need to be able to rely on your skills and commitment. We therefore find it important that you are motivated and like to take action.
- You have an open attitude and remain friendly to customers even during busy moments.
- You understand that it is often very busy and hectic at IKEA and that the work can also be physically demanding.
- You are enterprising, show initiative, and take responsibility. Both towards your colleagues and the customer.
- You are available from July 15 to August 31 and have no vacation plans during these weeks.
- You are at least 17 years old (due to working hours and cash register work), for our logistics department a minimum age of 18 years applies (due to working hours) and for this department, own transport (a car) is necessary because public transport is not accessible in the early morning or late evening.
- You have a good command of English, both spoken and written.
- You are flexibly deployable; during the day, on weekends, and in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
