We’re looking for an Inventory Controller to manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure efficient operations, minimize costs, and prevent stock discrepancies. This role involves tracking stock movements, maintaining accurate records between 3PL and ERP systems, and implementing inventory control procedures. Managing the assembly of display units is also part of this role.
Requirements
Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory accuracy
- Manage 3PL cycle counts and full inventory audits
- Investigate and resolve daily discrepancies between physical stock and system records
- Contribute to S&OP forums highlighting opportunities, threats and actions
- Manage stock moves within European network
Data & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP system
- Generate inventory reports, including stock status, usage trends, and forecast needs
- Analyze data to identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock
Assembly Management:
- Plan and schedule external assembly operations based on demand and production capacity
- Coordinate with purchasing team to ensure timely availability of materials
- Monitor production/assembly progress to ensure deadlines are met
- Optimize workflow by reducing inefficiencies in material movement and assembly processes
Continuous Improvement:
- Process optimization within Inventory + Assembly sphere
- Technology & Automation
- Performance monitoring
- Roadmap (with 3PL) on innovation
Qualifications & Skills:Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- 2+ years proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain roles
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, Business Central or similar ERP systems)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
