Junior Architectural Designer

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Design Architect to join our team and contribute to our exciting projects.

Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a Junior Architectural Designer with a unique and specific set of skills and experiences to join our team. The role will consist of working closely with our senior design team to develop and execute design concepts, produce drawings and specifications, and contribute to project documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for architecture and design to gain valuable experience and grow within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of design concepts and schematic drawings for residential projects.

Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and presentation materials using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and Adobe Creative Suite.

Collaborate with senior designers to produce construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.

Conduct research on materials, products, and building codes to inform design decisions.

Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project reviews.

Assist in project coordination and communication with consultants, contractors, and vendors.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 2+ years previous work experience in an architectural firm.
• Preferred recommendation by current or past employees.
• Familiarity working in an office environment that shares a similar organizational culture or operational style.
• Prior experience working in an office associated with our office, for example which is run by a former employee.
• Experience in managing high end residential renovation projects
• Experience in interior design for high end residential projects
• Experience in preparing, attending and leading client proposals and presentations.
• Experience in client and consultant communications & relationships.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Enscape for 3D rendering.
• Knowledge of residential design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
• Knowledge of passive high performance building construction.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of experience in all technical drawing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Experience in managing social media platforms
• Native English speaker.
