Partner Account Manager, GSIs – Netherlands (Amsterdam)

About The JobRed Hat’s fast growing business is built on the increasing importance of our partner ecosystem. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Partner Account Manager to join us in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In this role, you will support our continuous growth and manage and develop strategic relationships with a number of our global system integrators (GSIs). You’ll develop, implement, and manage the outcomes of joint challenges, authority, money, and prioritization (CHAMP) business plans that identify key growth areas for our business. As a Partner Account Manager, you’ll be part of a Partner Ecosystem team which is instrumental for Red Hat’s growth in the region. You’ll work closely with Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and global colleagues, local sales, and supporting teams to find, create, and close new business opportunities.

What You Will Do

  • Explore, establish, and maintain multi-level relationships within the GSI, to increase adoption of our technologies and solutions
  • Build a jointly-agreed-to (CHAMP) business plan with the GSIs and ensure implementation and fulfillment of that plan based on defined metrics
  • Define Red Hat’s value propositions and go-to-market approaches with these GSIs in order to achieve wins in the short and long-term
  • Connect GSI sales teams and Red Hat sales teams to collaborate on our strategic, enterprise, and commercial accounts to grow new business for us and increase our relevance for their business
  • Manage forecasts and stimulate additional new business revenue growth

What You Will Bring

  • 7+ years of sales experience working with system integrators partners, preferably GSIs
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in the IT software industry
  • Experience in building strategic multi-level relationships at managerial, sales, and presales level
  • Proven record in developing business with partners
  • Ability to translate partner business needs into joint solutions and set up and manage those initiatives to bring this to market
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to an ever-changing work environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills in Dutch and English
  • Highly motivated and ability to work as part of a local and international (virtual) Partner and Alliances team
