Partner Business Development Manager

Royal Philips is the leader in the development of 21st century Healthech value propositions via Personal Health, Precision Diagnosis, Interventional Guided Therapy and Connected Care business segments.

Philips has split the world into 9 different geographies, reflected in markets that integrally manage all downstream activities across the portfolio. North America and China have their own direct reporting lines, while the other 7 geographies report into the International Markets organization.

International Markets team designs, implements and manages the most effective and efficient global Go-to-Market (GtM) set up for a quickly changing customer environment. The Commercial Performance team within International Markets drives the operational development and execution of annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly Business Market Combination (BMC) plans from a Market perspective, and makes sure that opportunities and risks are managed across BMC’s and Markets to (over)deliver on Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments and market expectations. Daily Management, structured problem solving, standardization and best practice sharing being key tools

One third of the Health Systems Order intake and sales in International Markets is achieved through our Channel Partners.

Core remit of the role is to help drive the transformation of our G2M with Partners with a Customer and Channel Partner Sales and Services focus at the centre of everything we do.

This is an opportunity to join the International Markets Partner Management Team reporting to the Head of Partners for International Markets at a time where we will form the backbone to build the future on. You will be able to work within an established company with a start up mindset  in a complex market structure spanning the globe with 7 Markets APAC, LATAM, META, RCIS, Japan, Europe & ISC

KPI’s

Sales, margin growth indirect channel (Equipment and Customer Service)

Funnel health, winrate, visibility indirect channel

Customer satisfaction (NPS) of both Partners and the end customers

You are responsible for

  • Driving both Performance and Transformation of the indirect channel

  • Drives Transformational Projects driving consistency with a local/global mindset

  • Builds a network of matrix resources who collectively drive one mission and vision

  • Drives Daily Management and continuous improvement for indirect channel

  • Be the Voice of the Partner and indirect channel within the International Markets team and towards the business clusters

  • Develops new routes to market through new Partners and Solutions

  • Gatekeeper/ensuring NPI value propositions are suited for the indirect channel

  • Develops strategies, objectives, and tactical plans for Indirect Channel management.

  • Manages various initiatives related to building and implementing the Philips Partner Program

  • Driving progress on defined Partner Management Priorities

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Proven track record in getting things done and delivering strong results

  • Excellent relationship development and collaboration skills, with demonstrated track record of cross-functional collaboration

  • Leadership – experience successfully driving the performance and engagement of teams while developing talent capability.

  • Strong personal communication skills, be able to inspire, convince and mobilize people especially in non-hierarchical settings

  • Ability to assess creative ideas on potential value

  • Experience in managing Sales and business development through Partners 10years +

  • Understand the profitability of Partners and Philips relationship

  • Experience driving Services Sales and profitability through Partners 10years +

  • Deep understanding of Partner-Distributor Business Development

  • Fluent English is essential and additional languages desired

  • Experience working in an International Organization

  • Customer/Partner centric.

  • Self-Starter

Role is reporting into the Head of Partners International Markets. Full support and alignment of the broader organization is driven through Steerco’s and a matrix organization

Location:

Amsterdam or other European location with easy access to travel. If not  in Amsterdam regular travel to Amsterdam and to the Markets
