Who am I?
As Project Analyst, you will monitor transformational, continuous improvement & key business projects. As the right hand to our Head of PMO, you will be analyzing, supporting & driving projects throughout their lifecycle: From effective planning, and solid implementation to successful closure. This will include evaluation & root cause analysis, preparation of relevant project documentation (timeline, budget, resource planning…) as well as the follow-up on the project progress with project stakeholders in individual meetings as well as project update calls and Steerco meetings potentially including Management Committee/Zone members. You will be working in a diverse, dynamic, and performance-driven team with a good team spirit and humor. As Project Analyst in our team, you will build up your own project management experience & expertise, you will gain a broad network across functions within our company and become acquainted with L’Oreal Operations and its key stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities
- In-depth evaluation, process reviews and root cause analysis through both quantitative data analysis and qualitative stakeholder interviews.
- Using the gained knowledge to subdivide problems into smaller packages and create a project plan and timeline.
- Planning and managing timelines, workshop schedules and monitor completion of planned deliverables & milestones
- Providing proper project status visibility (and if needed escalation with recommendations for actions and decisions to be taken) through the maintenance of clean project documentation and regular updates
- Driving smaller projects or work packages yourself, including risk management & managing project interdependencies.
Your profileYou can navigate in highly complex, volatile, and uncertain settings with both strong technical and business expertise. You potentially know structures and WOW in L’Oreal and in Operations’ projects already and if there is an unfamiliar area, you have the curiosity and willingness to learn and find out quickly. You like to take initiative and are a strong communicator with a collaborative attitude, who is not afraid to challenge, and of being challenged. Your resilience helps you also with setbacks and you can recover your optimism and find compromises. You can work closely and get the buy-in of (technical) stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the proposed changes, ensuring a smooth transition. You prioritize effectively and can balance the strive for excellence with pragmatism. With your great enthusiasm and creative mindset, you ideate and bring new ideas to the table, not only as an individual but also together with your colleagues. You work well in cross-functional teams and are not afraid to take responsibility and make decisions. With your hands-on mentality, structured approach, and analytical skills, you proactively seek to improve the status quo. You see change as something positive, can adapt quickly, even in ambiguous and stressful settings and you like to courageously help shaping the future of L’Oreal Operations.
