WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

The Supply Chain Specialist for our Nike Direct Stores will always start with the consumer in mind. You improve service, growth and profitability to meet the financial and operational targets of our Nike Stores, while delivering on Nike’s strategy. You have a deep understanding of business operations and are accountable for consumer/athlete/customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and improving inventory efficiency. You use diagnostic and predictive analytics to make thoughtful business decisions. You keep your business partners informed and engaged of risks and opportunities, and you actively partner with your Stores and other operational functions, to find optimal supply chain and commercial solutions. You engage in key projects evolving existing business capabilities using agile principles.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON!

  • Implement efficient order management to plan and deliver to plan for our stores. You will be responsible for accurate and timely delivery of product and will be working in close alignment with our distribution and carrier teams
  • Work in partnership with our partners and stores team. You’ll deliver customer service excellence through consumer approach, proactive demeanor and reliability while at the same time ensuring our work supports and aligns with our Nike Direct Stores Strategy and our organization’s vision
  • Represent supply chain operations within the MPU cross-functional team to ensure a balanced marketplace, mutual profitable growth and effective mechanics of inventory management. You have regular interaction with internal and external partners within a matrix environment, sharing scenarios and solutions to risks/opportunities from a supply chain perspective
  • You will demonstrate the ability to lead and influence cross functional peers in professional discussions and often complex decisions to optimize demand fulfillment
  • Focus on performance; understanding supply chain performance metrics, performing data deep dives and analyses, driving concrete actions to improve performance
  • Drive speed-to-market improvements, reliability initiatives and focus on elevating the consumer experience

Who You Will Work With

A cross-functional agile environment that spans across EMEA and services the MPU’s operational business needs. Within the MPU, you will partner closely with Allocation, Sales, Merchandising, Planning and Finance. Outside of the MPU you will daily connect with your customers, carrier network and Nike’s logistical functions.

What You Bring

  • Confirmed and proven experience within Supply Chain management, planning or back of house leadership role for a Retail or Consumer Goods business. Wide and deep understanding of Supply Chain end to end general process
  • Experience in leading or co leading a project related to your own scope or your entire team
  • Proven track record in leading and delivering process improvement
  • Ability to drive service and make the right decisions with regards to prioritization and critical issues
  • Experience in developing excellent working relationships with key partners and bringing the right people together. Working with cross-functional teams and partners to drive a best-in-class customer service
  • Self-starter/capability to work efficiently both in groups and independently
  • Flexibility/ability to work in ambiguous environment
  • Work experience using excel (pivot table and VLOOKUP) to support the strong analytical skills and result driven approach delivering operational excellence
  • SAP, Cognos, and Tableau experience are a plus
