We zijn op zoek naar een PHP Web Developer om ons Software Development team in Dieren te versterken. Deze functie biedt een geweldige kans om te werken aan backend ontwikkelingsprojecten als een waardevol lid van ons DevOps-team; het continu bouwen, uitbreiden en verbeteren van ons in-house ontwikkelde retail technologieplatform. In deze rol kom je terecht bij een organisatie die samenwerkt met de meerderheid van de Top 100 financiële instellingen wereldwijd en consequent in de jaarlijkse Top 10 IDC FinTech Ranking staat.
Onze cloudoplossing is gebaseerd op IaaS, PaaS en SaaS (AWS, Azure, Openstack). We werken Agile met behulp van Scrum, waarbij we gebruik maken van JIRA en Confluence.
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor
- Het integreren van onze retail solution software met klantsystemen, gebruikmakend van jouw ervaring met PHP stack development
- Het ontwikkelen van nieuwe functies die onze klanten betere inzichten geven op hun apparaten en die ons data science team in staat stelt waardevolle retail inzichten te leveren
- Het herformuleren van de code base om de systeemprestaties en stabiliteit te verbeteren
- Het opleiden en assisteren van integratieteams en klanten
- Het samenwerken met interne analisten en consultants
- Het maken van technische ontwerpen op basis van user stories en functionele en technische specificaties
- Het verbeteren en ondersteunen van de processen die bestaan rond ons service team en reparatie centrum integratie
Kwalificaties
- Aantoonbare ervaring in software ontwikkeling
- Een goed begrip van PHP (en alles wat daarbij komt kijken: Symfony, Zend Framework/Laminas en frameworks in het algemeen)
- Ervaring met versiebeheer (we gebruiken Git)
- Kennis van JSON/REST, API’s, MySQL, Elasticsearch
- Interesse in AWS, Azure en cloud technologie
- RabbitMq, Amazon, Gearman
- ElasticSearch, Sphinx
- Leuk om ervaring te hebben met: Cassandra, Continuous Integration & Deployments, Docker

Position Overview
We are looking to bring on a PHP Web Developer to join our Software Development team in Dieren. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on backend development projects as a valuable member of our DevOps team; continuously building, extending and improving our in-house developed retail technology platform. In this role you will be joining an organisation that works with the majority of the Top 100 financial institutions globally and consistently ranks in the annual Top 10 IDC FinTech Ranking.
Our cloud solution is based on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS (AWS, Azure, Openstack). We work with Agile using Scrum, making use of JIRA and Confluence.
You are responsible for
- Integrating our retail solution software with customer systems, utilizing your experience of PHP stack development
- Developing new features that give our customers better insights on their devices and that enables our data science team deliver valuable retail insights
- Refactoring the code base to enhance system performance and stability
- Educating and assisting integration teams and customers
- Collaborating with internal analysts and consultants
- Creating technical designs from user stories and functional & technical specifications
- Improving and supporting the processes that exists around our service team and repair centre integration
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in software development
- A good understanding of PHP (and everything that comes with it: Symfony, Zend Framework/Laminas and frameworks in general)
- Version control experience (we use Git)
- Knowledge of JSON/REST, APIs, MySQL, Elasticsearch
- Interest in AWS, Azure and cloud technology
- RabbitMq, Amazon, Gearman
- ElasticSearch, Sphinx
- Nice to have experience of: Cassandra, Continuous Integration & Deployments, Docker
