As the Regional Sales Manager based in Arequipa, Peru, you will manage the profitability and growth of the sales region, as well as support the development of Bradken Mineral Processing sales in line with corporate objectives and values.

You are an achiever who will ensure the budgeted sales level and margins are attained through effective deployment of resources, prospecting the customer base and seeking new business opportunities.

With our customer satisfaction of the highest levels as a key driver, you will undertake product wear monitoring at customer sites and complete customer reports.

Your knowledge and understanding of Grinding Mills and Crushers coupled with a firm grasp of our customer needs with assist in delivering specialised solutions for them. You will play an active role in developing market opportunities through product and technical development, working closely with Product Development teams.

As a data-driven individual, you will develop and maintain systems for measuring market share and sales forecasts. With your commercial acumen, you will take an active role in developing the regions sales budgets, achieve budgeted gross margin and targeted sales for the region.

Key Technical Criteria:

  • Formal Engineering/Mining or Trade background and experience in sales and marketing
  • 10 years’ work related experience in Mining and associated markets
  • 5 years experience in concentrator plants
  • Trade, Mining or Extractive Metallurgical background
  • General understanding of Engineering Drawings.
  • Familiar with mining operations, including grinding mills, crushers, and conveying equipment
  • Experience promoting or selling steel castings, composite liners, and fixed plant wear plates
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to add value to the customer, including knowledge of competitors and product/service offerings
  • Exposure to Peruvian export/import requirements.
  • Clear understanding of comminution circuits, mineral processing.
  • Strong ability to communicate and present technical and commercial knowledge and proposals in English and Spanish.

This role is based in Arequipa, Peru and will involve extensive travel to the client’s sites.

The position will offer the challenge and channel to utilise your sales drive, people leadership skills, safety conscious behaviours and customer service skills.
