Job Purpose:

• The purpose of this job is to manage the matters related to NSS, LDI and FLL core network, maintain network availability, smooth induction of new elements and services in network while ensuring the performance of nationwide core network nodes at optimum level and suggest/implement improvement/security measures.

Job Responsibilities:

• To ensure Core network availability at 99.999% from all perspective of network platforms, services, applications and interfaces. Taking preventive & corrective measures for hardware and software to maintain the network availability
• To manage perform and coordinate all kind of system data configurations. Ensure smooth database related definitions which includes end to end network platforms and services
• To manage, perform and coordinate maintenance and health checks of all systems, platforms, applications and interfaces as per schedules. Ensure updated record and make necessary changes wherever and whenever required.
• Preparation, implementation and continuous improvement of emergency / disaster recovery plans and their periodic testing as per applicable and approved scope.
• To lead and provide support in case of any system or service abnormality and escalate / resolve till resolution.
• Managing and Monitoring of all core network platforms and services KPIs, their drill down analysis, escalation, coordination wherever applicable
• Smooth Integration of new network elements into the network as per agreed timelines
• Coordination with vendors for resolution of pending issues as per SLA and for new features implementation
• To ensure Customer Complaints are resolved within TAT & count targets and ensuring that all network services are fault-free
• To manage availability and forecasting of required spares for smooth network operations. Keep updated record of Core network inventory (installed base), spares inventory, R&R process, asset tagging and related requirements
• Handling of routine operational matters related to GSM, LDI, IR, LI and, FLL network services.
• Technical Implementation and integration of interconnects with all National telecom operators (Mobile, fixed, FLL and LDI.
• To manage and coordinate with internal and external stake holders for meeting different company requirements

Qualification:

• Must have minimum Bachelor in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Telecom/Computer) or equivalent degree.

Work Experience:

• Candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in relevant domain/Telecom Sector.

Skills – Job Specific:

• Must have minimum Bachelor in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Telecom/Computer) or equivalent degree
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in related domain
• Expert knowledge and experience for core systems used in mobile telephony including MSC/MGW, STP/DRA, HSS, IMS and EIR etc.
• Expertise in all signaling protocols, standards and associated flows
• Expert knowledge and practical experience in hardware and software of core network platforms
