Staff Nurse

Job DescriptionIndus Hospital & Health Network is looking for a qualified, experienced and energetic professionals to join Pediatric Oncology Outreach Centre – Shikarpur– Sindh,The Registered Nurse will promote and restore patient’s health as they prescribe, provide, delegate, evaluate and coordinate comprehensive professional nursing care through the use of the nursing process for patients of all ages, gender, cultures, and background; provide physical and psycho-social support to patients and families.

This individual may oversee clinical care of other personnel including Nursing Interns, LPN, RMs, CCTs, and NAs

Tasks & Accountabilities

Patient Duties

• Assessment of nursing needs, develop, implement and evaluate nursing care to meet those needs.
• Carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision.
• Advise on the promotion of health and prevention of illness.
• Adhere at all times to Hospital Code of Conduct.
• Ensure that nursing procedures are carried out in accordance with approved Nursing SOPs, protocol and guidelines and these procedures are evidence based
• Maintain accurate records as per documentation Guidelines for records and record keeping
• Store, administer and order drugs according to Hospital Policy for the Administration of Medicines.
• Ensure proper handover & takeover of incoming / outgoing shift, unit / ward and information related to patients (kardex, medications, investigations, intake and output, etc.
• Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
