Position Title : Assistant Manager – Innovation

Location : Karachi, Head Office

Key Responsibilities

• Help design and own the innovation calendar for the selected category.
• Lead innovation network end-to – end.
• Align cross functional teams on innovation projects, regularly follow up with them on it
• Design launch plans for innovation. Should have a good understanding of the media scenario in Pakistan (especially E-comm) and work closely with media, outdoor and digital agencies on media plans.
• Lead innovation planning for 8 qtrs
• Manage the P&L for all the launches.
• Should be flexible to travel and do regular market visits and consumer meets in order to stay closer to customer and consumer
• Past experience of working in fast innovation led categories are preferred.
• Knowledge or experience in beauty and personal care category will be an added benefit.

• Should have strong bias for action
• A lot of empowerment will be given in this role hence the resource has to be good at accountability and responsibility
• Good at multitasking

Competencies

• Should be able to analyze retail audit and consumer panel data
• Should have a good understanding of the media landscape of Pakistan
• A good understanding of P&L to be able to work on pricing scenarios with commercial and at the same time work with supply chain on controlling costs

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree Required, MBA preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of brand management experience
