Asst. Manager Finance Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Manage intercompany and third-party payables including import accounting and reporting.
• Process LC, BC and open account payments.
• Examine the forex trend to plan import payments, Liaise with banks for retirement of original documents.
• Bimonthly reconcile our purchase listing with the intercompany sales listing.
• Monthly recording of commercial invoices, payments, margin refunds, duties and taxes.
• Oversee the clearing agent bills to ensure billed amount by agent is accurate
• Assist in Company secretarial work such as filing of statutory returns, filing of various form and meeting other compliances.
• Monthly book/record of import related bank charges, and insurance expenses.
• Monthly book/record IFRS 16-Lease accounting for sales offices.
• Oversee the insurance function and liaise with the insurance agent and ensure the insurance renewal processes are in place.
• Oversee the dividend matters and liaise with the share registrar, processing of share transfers, processing the monthly dividend batches and preparing dividend bank reconciliation.
• Assist in the preparation of annual report and assisting external auditors in carrying out audits and half year reviews.
• Execution of ongoing projects and preparing ad-hoc reports.
• Prepare board and regional accounts committee presentations.

Knowledge, Skills & CompetenciesExperience & Knowledge:Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in a related position, & marketing concern and having proficiency in using SAP.

• ACCA Qualified / BBA / MBA
