Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to business development across various products and services, including managing records, generating reports, ensuring prompt response to queries by the on-ground sales team and managing administrative tasks to enable the team to meet business targets. The role is also required proactively resolve issues, add value and ensure delivery on expectations.

Challenges & Accountabilities

  • Working as a part of the Exams Business Development team, the Business Development Admin Officer will primarily support the team in the day-to-day running of the department.
  • Maintaining and updating the sales/ account targets vs actual by collaborating with the team nationally and reporting to the management.
  • Monthly, Weekly and daily Sales reporting with maintenance of various databases and invoice processing of B2B network
  • Contract management for all partners across Pakistan and ensuring capacity fill through close liaison with operations team.
  • Assisting field team in recording account management activities and generating reports and insights through usage of CRM.
  • Maintenance of client databases and of departmental budget sheets and reporting, as required

Main AccountabilitiesAdministrative Support

  • Liaising with operations team for resolving operations related queries raised by partners
  • Raising PR request for business related activities and following up with procurement team for PO issuance
  • Maintaining inventory log of giveaways and marketing collaterals in house
  • Despatch and record keeping of marketing collaterals e.g. calendars, information booklets etc. to partners on timely basis
  • Keeping a record of incentives and giveaways given to channel partners
  • Support the business development team for other administrative tasks related to channel management, events and projects

Data Management and Reporting

  • Daily monitoring and record keeping of reports from the field sales teams
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to the Business development manager on visits, partner feedback, market intelligence etc.
  • Keeping an updated record of partnership agreements and tracking in-process agreement with team members/regions/SBUs
  • Maintaining a record of purchase orders generated for various BD tasks for monthly budget reconciliation, open commitments and month end closing report with finance

Market & customer intelligence

  • Pulls together and collates Customer and Market intelligence from the field teams and presents with the management periodically

Customer Services

  • Work with business development team to increase customer facilitation by resolving first level queries on priority.
  • Liaise with relevant internal teams efficiently for the resolution of incoming queries from team and customers to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Cross functional liaison within the organization to ensure internal customer satisfaction

Account Relationship Support

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date partner records and data to support Relationship and Business Pursuit Managers for coordinated account management.
  • Coordinates and organises contact with stakeholders to assist the relationship management and business pursuit teams for meetings, conference, sending targeted marketing or marketing materials etc

Analysis & Reporting

  • Provides updates on B2B/Sales forecast, actively maintain pipeline in coordination with the field teams
  • Contributes data and/or administrative support, as required, to enable the development and distribution of high quality, customer and market-focused marketing collateral
