Executive Billing & Invoicing

Job Summary:

The incumbent will process and record all invoices as per applicable government taxes & vendor status; pertaining to imports and local inventory, non-inventory, projects related procurement against supplies & services. The incumbent will prepare, and present periodic management reports & ensure there are no outstanding liabilities in the system. Please note this a billing & invoicing role based in Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement smart tax management with regard to vendor payments
• Present management reports regarding spent and outstanding deliverables
• Processing invoices from local and foreign sources for: Raw & Packaging Inventory, Toll manufacturing invoices, on-inventory, including all promotional, DAB, engineering, projects, QA/QV, IT, etc., plant Capex, including all AFE approved capital purchases, exports, Distribution & logistics, freight forwarding, import & export clearances, and Imports clearing agents and other services
• Follow-up from each buyer to ensure all invoices are timely processed and no due payment is outstanding in the system.
• Issuance of debit notes on rejections, penalties & short supplies.
• Processing of advance payments for projects, raw & packaging material and non-inventory purchases. Also including pay order requests for clearances, duties & taxes, other shipping charges etc.
• Timely settlement of advances.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholder for resolution of any issue pertinent to processing of invoice.
• Prepare & present management reports elaborating open orders, advances, liabilities, etc. Perform system audits.

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

• the candidate has a BBA, MBA or is a part qualified accountant
• the candidate has knowledge related to Finance Payables, Import and Export clearance process and Supply Chain Process
• a relevant experience of minimum 2 to 4 years.
