Firmware / Sr. Embedded Systems Engineer

 This is a dynamic role working with independently and closely with the onsite engineers in the beginning. Eventually building a team of engineers developing various medical devices and biosensors. It is a key role within the Company that requires extensive knowledge of Firmware and Hardware skills including capabilities for data analysis. You will have the opportunity to help define the direction of the company’s valued product from hardware design and development, firmware development, evaluation and analysis to assessing performance benchmarks. You will be responsible for critical reviews of the scientific literature related to human vital signs, LTE CAT M1, RF antenna and will be intimately involved with design-for-manufacturability (DFM) as per FDA guidelines. You will work closely with onsite engineers and with outside consultants on optimizing methods of battery management, data packet creation, protocols and tools such as AWS, TLS 1.2, MQTT broker server, Bluetooth FTP, etc. You will demonstrate your sound analytical skills in designing validation experiments to generate statistically significant results, implementing protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including operating under design controls and FDA and ISO regulations, and making recommendations to management based on the significance of the results.
