Procurement Manager

What You Will Be Doing

You will lead the Procurement function and will be responsible for the management of all procurement process. Your responsibilities will include:

• To oversee complete Procurement department including the procurement team
• Have sound knowledge of managing technical and non-technical procurement requirements
• Always ensure the integrity of VavaCars Procurement SOP including Vendor KYC, price comparatives, contracts, and documentations
• Build a procurement cycle forecast in coordination with the Operations department for consumables to ensure optimum production.
• Maintain a database of procurement related savings for the Country GM
• Manage training sessions on the procurement process for all departments.
• Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers
• Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors
• Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing
• Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Assist the team in completing ad-hoc business requirements as they arise

Requirements

• Minimum 7-8 years of relevant work experience working in a tech centric / fast moving / high growth brand and business
• Have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, problem solving and time management
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Urdu and English
• Ability to create a strong sense of cooperation and teamwork throughout the organization
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
