Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) is looking to fill the vacant position of a Security & Logistics Officer for its Islamabad Office.
- The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree, with a Military services background.
- Ten (10) years’ experience is required.
- Incumbent is overall responsible for the monitoring of security of Area Office, field office, Warehouse, any other company facilities, and support operations.
- Responsible for generating security alerts and reports according to changing environment that affect the company’s operations and safety of its employees.
- Educate company’s employees on process and procedures to be taken in case of any emergency.
- Maintain liaising with local security officials, military agencies, tribal leaders and civil administration with respect to security issues to ensure no disruption in company’s operations.
- Participates in the field level planning with respect to security concerns.
- Maintaining liaison with JVs on all type of security matters.
- Ensuring that timely security clearance is applied and received for all foreign employees to travel and stay at locations where KUFPEC has working.
- Coordination with local security officials, military agencies, tribal leaders and civil administration with respect to logistical movement of equipment and staff to and from the field.
- Liaise with Join Venture Partners on non-operated and operated assets to ensure proper inventory control as per approved internal process and procedures.
- Supervise the warehouse activities by ensuring that the equipment is properly stacked, inventory matches with the Company’s electronic records.
- Disposal of any surplus inventory identified in operated & non-operated assets coordination with the JVPs & user Department
- Supervise and coordinate the logistics of Long Lead Items by ensuring that the material provided meets requirements, delivered safely from the vendor/port to the warehouse, issued/received to/from the wellsite or field from/to warehouse at request of the user department.
- Supervise proper documentation of receiving, issuance and return of material inventory and ensuring Goods Receipt Note (GRN), Material Issue Note (MIN), Goods Returned etc. are generated, approved, stored & simultaneously updated in the electronic data base.
- Supervise carrying out of periodic inventory counts for inventory kept at the warehouse in line with the PCA/JOA and Company’s internal procedures.
- Supervise Company Warehouse Inventory Audits and JV inventory Audits.
- Ensure strict adherence to company’s procedures and policies with respect to warehouse & logistics.
