The BMS Operator will perform monitoring of BMS and operations to help his team. Furthermore, he will report any fault on the equipment to the Engineer, Technical Officer (TO).
- Completely perform the assigned corrective and preventive maintenance correctly and on time.
- Report alarms, defects, issues, breakdowns, damages, etc., to the Fault Reporting Center or Engineer, TO.
- Monitor the BMS System.
- Follow the duty roster.
- Report spare part requirements and its availability.
- Follow all work instructions given by the TO and Engineers.
- Take care of the tools, test tools and equipment.
- Escalate to their line manager any lack of proper equipment or tools for doing the work.
- Comply with the company standards specifically related to personal hygiene, dress code and behavior.
- Comply with all HSEQ procedures, rules and regulations from the client and from FMM’s HSEQ Management System.
- Attend all training sessions and understand all documents, including training handouts or modules, work instructions and toolboxes.
- Report workplace accident, incident, near miss or health event to their line manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Diploma/technical course/trade certification in any technical related course.
Essential:
- 5 year experience in compatible function and facility.
- BMS monitoring and operations.
Preferred:
- Regulations (e.g., OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS).
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Capable of establishing work priorities.
- Can work with less supervision.
