Data Scientist – PanData Tech – Doha

We are looking for a Data Scientist with practical experience in data science, data analytics or related domain. The ideal candidate should have experience working with Time Series and Geo spatial data.

PanData can be defined as a tech company focused on applying scientific knowledge to solve concrete problems. In other words, its mission is to enhance the business operation of the clients by developing and implementing premium IT products and services.

Requirements:

· At least 3 years of experience in data analytics or related fields.

· Strong programming skills, preferably in python.

· Ability to get into data to look for empirical relationships, summarize its characteristics often using visualizations and provide insights that could lead to the formation of hypothesis.

· Should be able to extract and analyze data from (non)relational databases.

· Well-versed in source control with Git.

· Understanding of machine learning and deep learning techniques and algorithms.

· Experience with common data science libraries and toolkits, such as Pandas, NumPy, Scipy, Seaborn, Plotly, keras, tensorflow, pytorch, Jupyter is highly desirable.

· Experience working with Time Series data and robust models.

· Experience working with Geo Spatial data with the ability to dig into data, develop features and develop or implement models to solve any problem.

· Strong communication skills to capture and convey project requirements, and explain analytical solutions.

· Strong English-language communication skills.

Responsibilities:

· You will work at the intersection of statistics, computer programming, and business.

· Use combined knowledge of computer science, software development, and analytics to solve problems.

· Read research literature and implement scientific techniques.

· Research and implementation of machine learning models covering the data science process from data story telling, data processing to model deployment.
