About the role

You will responsible for leading and developing capacity and capability within a team of people through clear and concise communication, coaching and support to deliver and improve against business targets and objectives. Embedding well developed processes, systems and control frameworks are in place embedding proper audit controls and accounting methods to facilitate performance improvement and month/year end closing activities and audit. Preparation of financial and strategic information, monitoring performance and variance against forecast, evaluating opportunities/risks, and creation of value. Focus on value-added, meaningful, and insightful reporting and analysis for senior management across the business.

Qualifications

About you

You will possess:

• A minimum of 6 years specialist of job-related experience required.
• Qualified Accountant and/or AMCT/MCT/CFA qualified or equivalent
• Experience in effectively managing people to deliver business requirements in corporate treasury or a related area in finance.
• Certification in project management (e.g. Six Sigma).
• Experience in legal contract negotiation.
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken). Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• An evident project/change management approach to driving continuous improvement in process delivery.
• Proven high levels of commercial acumen and business exposure with excellent influencing and relationship building skills at senior levels.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiating, and organizational skills with ability to analyze, review variances, interpret data and present effectively to facilitate decision making.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Good working knowledge of finance systems, project management and process mapping tools and techniques.
• Proven ability to organize complex tasks and communicate effectively
• Excellent organizational, project management and process reengineering skills.
• Good working knowledge of financial modelling, valuation, and corporate finance.
• Good understanding of accounting and policies.
• Managerial Skills – Ability to delegate work effectively, set clear direction and monitor performance. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate skill and foster teamwork among team members and departments.
• Understanding of electronic payment methods and infrastructure.
• Thorough understanding of funding programs such as revolving credit agreements, asset backed securitization programs, collateral management.
• Strong financial modelling ability – building, maintaining large, dynamic and complex financial models.
