Key responsibilities
- Develop automated tests across the development lifecycle and in turn supporting rapid development of automated tests to integrate in CI/CD pipeline.
- Working within an Agile environment.
- Ensuring accurate and timely resolution of problems, applying structured implementation techniques
- Design, build and execute manual tests to achieve sprint goals.
- Take part in all sprint ceremonies helping the team to shift testing left.
We are looking for
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years hands on testing experience within a SAP environment.
- ISTQB qualification or equivalent.
- Exposure to at least one of the following engineering techniques:
o Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD)
o Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)
o Test Driven Development (TDD)
o Understand security policies and how they are applied
- Knowledge or hands on with designing and writing test automation.
- Knowledge of least one, preferably more, of the following languages: C#, Java, VBScript, Javascript, YAML, Groovy.
- Awareness or exposure with test automation tools, like, TestComplete, Tricentis Tosca, UFT, CBTA, IFTT, Postman, Soap UI.
- Good critical reasoning and analytical skills. Takes ownership of problems through to resolution.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and able to articulate technical complexity which are understood by both technical and non-technical personnel
- Keen to learn independently as well as through hands on coaching and formal training.
Nice to have
- Awareness of ALM tools, including Jira, Aha, Solution Manager and Azure DevOps
- Awareness of Development tools and methods that you can apply to your work.
- Practical knowledge of using version control systems (Git preferred)
- Secure data solutions by using encryption, Azure confidential computing, and SSL/TLS communications.
- Implement large-scale, parallel and high-performance apps.
- Knowledge of Solution Manager and use of it for testing.
