Job Purpose:
Expert Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation of expert marketing strategies developed by the Area for a set of Priority brands. The role forms a link between the Area Marketing (especially Area Expert Marketing) and the country/cluster, providing Area with LOC insight and input while also effectively translating Area plans into the local context to ensure a smooth strategy implementation. Country/cluster Expert Marketing Manager cooperates closely with Area Expert Brands Managers, LOC Medical Managers, LOC Expert Sales Teams and Local Brand Marketing Teams.
They are a champion for the recognition of value add of Expert Marketing with internal and external customers in the country/cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports the Area Expert Brand Managers with LOC input for MAP 1 and MAP 2 for a set of Priority Brands. This includes working on recommendations for appropriate investment levels for Expert to ensure Brand/Brands financial objectives are met in the markets.
- Supports the Area Expert Brand Managers to develop the Expert media strategy and plan a set of Priority brands
- Supports Area to gain CCAT approval of assets
- Identifies Expert insight gaps for a set of Priority Brands across the country/cluster and develops recommendations to address gaps
- Supports the Area to integrate Expert insight into Brand/Brands strategies, and integrate brand insights/strategy into Expert strategy
- Oversees and constantly optimizes the expert budget and budget phasing for the country/cluster.
- Leads deployment of plans in the country/cluster with guidance from Area and support from LOC marketing and commercial teams. This includes creation of training material for LOC Expert Field Force for a set of Priority Brands.
- Participates at Expert Field Force cycle meetings and seeks constant feedbacks and understanding of local expert insights
- Participates in periodic reviews of Brand/Brands performance for a set of Priority Brands in the country/cluster and collaborates with LOC marketing teams/Area to identify and approve mitigating actions to deliver Brand/Brands financial commitments.
- Effectively influences a number of stakeholders to ensure buy-in to recommended strategies and plans with the support of the Area Team
- Engages and energizes internal and external stakeholders on the Expert strategy and marketing plans for a set of Priority Brands in the country/cluster
- Builds powerful relationships with LOC Marketing, LOC Medical and Area Marketing Team
- Builds and leverages relationships with the Category team as appropriate
Requirements:
- Experience in expert marketing with Consumer Healthcare or FMCG companies, developing and implementing expert strategies & plans
- Experience in cross-functional cooperation with commercial, marketing functions
- Solid understanding of the marketing function and the levers to pull to drive impact in the market (net sales, share, brand equity)
- Knowledge of expert trends and solutions on the Area level and cluster/country level
- Experience managing and cooperating with agencies and vendors
- Min Bachelor/Master Study / Ideally healthcare qualification
- Fluent English
