Senior Java Backend Developer (Remote or hybrid) – Adswizz – București

For our Engineering Department, based in Bucharest, located at the 35th floor in Sky Tower building (highest in Romania), we are hiring a Senior Java Backend Developer. As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will:– Create solutions by designing, implementing, installing and maintaining Java based systems, components and interfaces– Define, architect and develop scalable, fault tolerant services– Take ownership of software components and associated development and testing in terms of timelines and quality– Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of available alternative paths– Build domain knowledge– Assist in scope definition, planning, estimation and tracking– Validate solution by developing unit and integration tests– Support internal teams by developing documentation and assistance tools– Share knowledge and assist other team members Your Job Requirements:– Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)– Have 5+ years of experience writing and deploying Java production code– Good ability to abstract complex problems to their essential components and design and implement elegant solutions for them– Robust OO Programming and OO Design concepts knowledge– Good working knowledge of layered (n-tier) architecture, event-driven architecture, microservice architecture– Strong analytical and logical skills including troubleshooting– Strong knowledge of Java 8+– Strong knowledge of Spring framework and Spring components– Have 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot, Dropwizard or equivalent Java microservice framework– Experience implementing and consuming REST APIs– Good knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies, preferably JPA.
