DESIGNATION : Executive, Admissions Office

RESPONSIBILITIES

Admissions Office of Kaplan Singapore performs student selection and admissions exercise in fair, transparent and accurate manner to ensure every applicant meets the minimum entry requirements of the course. The department works closely with internal and external stakeholders in student selection exercises and ensures compliance with the policy and regulation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct admission assessment (selection exercise) processes for prospective students and administer selection test/interview (if applicable) for assigned courses
  • Verify applicants’ academic and supporting documents to ensure the course entry requirements are met
  • Seek academic advice and recommendation from Academic Team/University partners on student selection/advanced standing assessment-related matter
  • Administer and issue Letter of Offer to prospective students based on the approval given by the School or/and University partners.
  • Collect research data via NOOSR/NARIC and valid source(s) for the advanced standing/exemption assessment.
  • Follow-up on student’s application assessment and update student selection records within the stipulated timeline.
  • Adhere to rules and regulations of student selection and admission process based on Kaplan and EduTrust requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in any discipline
  • Strong team player
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Experience in the education industry would be an advantage
