What the role is
The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment. We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore’s built environment.
What you will be working on
The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development and transformation of the Built Environment sector, to improve Singapore’s living environment. We are looking for dynamic individuals who can contribute to BCA’s growing digital communications and content creation functions. You will work with the team to formulate and drive digital communication strategies to profile the work by BCA and the built environment sector to deliver the best built environment for Singapore. Responsibilities: • Working closely with the team to produce content across our owned digital and social platforms. Content would largely focus on visual storytelling e.g. infographics, illustrations, videos, and could include short and long form digital articles. • Working with the Content Lead to plan and conceptualise a line-up of content in line with our content strategy • Managing social media accounts, as and when required • Managing the website, as and when required
What we are looking for
Requirements • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in content production • Tertiary qualifications from relevant field of communications • Able to produce content independently, using basic audio-visual equipment and digital editing software is a plus • Creative, engaging storyteller. Relevant copywriting skills would be a bonus • A self-motivated individual who is reliable and make a good team player Successful candidates will be offered contract employment.
