Operations Analyst (6 months Contract)

The department

Janus Henderson operates an outsourced model in partnership with our Third-Party Administrators (TPA). The primary focus of the Operations team is the oversight and management of the TPAs as well as supporting internal clients (for example the Distribution and Investment teams). Operations also support numerous projects and operational changes to maintain best practice operational processes.

Overview of the role

This is a 6-month contract position. The primary purpose of this role is to support transfer agency operations. You will be responsible for attending to queries from distributors/clients, third part administrators and Asia Distribution teams. You will also responsible for providing excellent client service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities

You will:

  • Attend to queries from distributors/clients, third party administrators and Asia Distribution teams and provide timely operational support for any operational issues
  • Facilitate account openings for Asia distributors/clients
  • Design and implement appropriate internal control procedures in daily procedures, and monitor the operational risks in a controllable and acceptable level
  • Review dealing guides and operating memorandums with distributors, third party administrators and Asia Distribution teams
  • Attend and participate in regular service reviews and meetings with third party administrators
  • Prepare, compile and check data and information required by regulators
  • Monitor and assist on initiative to increase the Straight-Through-Processing rates for Asia distributors/clients
  • Build good working relationships with other departments including Product, Compliance and Distribution
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory responsibilities

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Relevant financial services experience with transfer agency operations
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good knowledge of the Luxembourg and Irish funds Regulatory Framework
  • Intermediate to strong Microsoft excel skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
