A rare opportunity has become available due to expansion within a key area of the business who are looking for someone to take forward and lead this business area as their AV Technology manager.

The role:

The global IT team is seeking a Digital Events and AV Technology manager who will be a member of the Infrastructure Team at reporting to the Global Head

This role will “own” all AV capable facilities globally and oversee the design and fit out of the AV estate for all new offices globally.

• Working within the global leadership team to manage the video and events estate and service to internal clients.
• Collaborating with senior clients, facilities, and IT Specialists to design and then deliver templated digital events to a gold standard, repeatedly.
• Overseeing the AV and Events Architecture and Engineering functions
• Management of the AV Operations function (White Glove VIP service on Zoom, Teams, Webex, Skype and Incident and Problem Management)
• Responsible for ensuring the global AV teams are trained to the highest technical and client servicing levels.
• Delivery of new and cutting-edge technologies across the AV estate
• Manage new & ongoing Project deliverables using Agile adoptions
• Overseeing the onsite and 3rd party teams with events, problems, and delivery of client solutions
• Managing the teams that provide Event support internally (Events can run into the weekday evenings)
• Ensure business deliverables are communicated effectively
• Capacity planning and the management and monitoring of the estate
• Ensure Software & security patches are maintained across the estate
• Ensure configurations standards are maintained throughout the global estate
• Visual design and being part of the creative process

These are the skills required:

• Experience in managing a small corporate TV Studio/Media Centre
• Accredited Audio-visual qualifications (Crestron, Q-Sys, Dante)
• Experienced in Project management deliverables (Prince/ITIL)
• Experience in managing 3rd party service providers to SLA’s/KPI’s
• Knowledge and understanding of Crestron applications (Toolbox)
• Good level of understanding API & HTML5
• Knowledge on Live production environments such as Auditorium & TV Studio
• Demonstrate understanding on Video Matrix, Podcasting, Live streaming
• Good level of knowledge on QSYS, Dante & Christie Spyder platforms
• Experience managing & supporting Exterity IPTV & Signage platforms
• Experience on AV systems design, Schematics & HLD & LLD
• Pre and Postproduction Technology
