Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing practice. Their office are based in Hitchin. This role can be performed either in-office or a blend of office and remote. Requirements: Undertaking bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients (various industries and sizes) Maintain clients accounting records of their portfolio of clients on various software’ Able to prepare complex VAT returns Timely completion of VAT returns Prepare management accounts and accompanying information Ability to self-check own work Prepare reports, letters, and other documents Excellent organisation of your own workload and assisting in the organisation of team members Where necessary train and support clients Personal attributes: Ability to use own initiative and work autonomously, as well as part of a team Adaptable, keen and flexible approach Punctual and attentive to support a busy team Excellent organisational skills Ability to prioritise a very busy workload and work effectively under pressure Excellent aptitude in monitoring the team’s weekly tasks Professional telephone manner Technical skills: Advanced IT skills (including MS Word, Excel, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero) 2 years practice experience For more information, please contact Liam Snell at LGS Vision Recruitment.
