Customer Assistance Representative (Office Based)
Location : Sunderland (SR3), Derry (BT48) or Skipton (BD23)

As a Customer Assistance Representative, youâll spend your time helping customers with their finances and giving them support to help get them back on track with their mortgage payments.
We will give you the tools to be able to do this effectively and support our customers. In return, we ask that you are adaptable, have a flexible approach and the drive to support customers in a fast moving and excitable environment.
Weâre offering a generous package with excellent bonus earning potential and many other company benefits :
- £21,429 to £22,857 – thatâs £10.30-£10.98 per hour based on a 40-hour contract. 35-hour contracts are available on pro-rata salary
- Bonus earning potential of up to £1,800 per annum which is measured by quality, productivity and making sustainable arrangements with customers

Starting on 14th February 2022 , you will be welcomed into the business and join our virtual academy with our talented training team who will support you at the beginning of your journey.
Once youâre up and running we will introduce you to your shift patterns which we will share with you a few weeks in advance.
You will be helping our customers between 8am and 8 : 30pm Monday to Friday, 9am-1pm Saturdays and be flexible at month end to work until 4pm Saturday and cover some Sundays and bank holidays if they fall on a month end.
Please ensure you have a strong WIFI connection and suitable workspace, to work remotely. The role is not available outside the UK.

Youâll live in Sunderland, Derry or close to our Yorkshire office within 1-hour commutable distance of your local office.
You will be able to travel to your closest office on an ad-hoc basis if required for training, but the majority of time, due to the pandemic you will be working remotely until it is safe to move back into the office environment.
A role you will love
The Customer Assistance Representative role will see you supporting mortgage customers who are in arrears and managing them through the process, exploring all viable options and providing solutions to support customers through their journey.
You will have meaningful conversations with arrears customers and 3rd parties, providing an effective and efficient service.
Some of your key responsibilities will include :
- Understand the needs of the customers that you are talking to and provide the appropriate long-term solution that will help them on the road to financial recovery.
- Establish and maintain inbound and outbound contact with customers and implement appropriate forbearance solutions
- Identify customers who would benefit from receiving debt advice.
- Liaise with third parties and internal stakeholders to agree the most effective course of action to help customers
- Support peers and team initiatives to make improvements and better ways of working we love to hear new ideas!

Experience in a financial role is desirable but donât worry if you donât already have this experience. We will make sure you have the tools and training you need to do a great job!

Compensation. £21,429 to £22,857 for 40-hour contract or £18,750 to £20,000 for 35-hour contract
