Do you like being part of a team and want to contribute to the implementation of our health and safety procedures and practices for the one of the UK’s largest provider of IT lifecycle services.

As the EHS Advisor you will deliver professional, high quality generalist Environmental, Health and Safety guidance to all sites throughout the country.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate environmental, health and safety professional to join our forward thinking, growing business.

You’ll be providing environmental, operational health and safety risk management support and advice to our site teams and contributing significantly to the implementation of process and continuous development of the Environmental and H&S management system (EHSMS) and H&S culture within the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide professional and consistent EH&S specialist support
  • Aid in the continual development, monitoring & review of the system
  • Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
  • Carry out regular EH&S assurance reviews / inspections and work collaboratively to make improvements and ensure compliance
  • Carry out internal site audits aligned with all clauses of ISO 45001, ISO 14001
  • Work with the wider assurance team to ensure integration of the systems, enabling compliance with the requirements of ISO’s 45001, 14001, 9001 and 27001
  • Manage government regulatory agency and external stakeholder EH&S activities, including reporting, visits and inspections

ABOUT YOU

  • Self-motivated with excellent communication, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Extensive knowledge of H&S legislation around LOLER and PUWER
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate and Technical Member of IOSH or equivalent is essential
  • Graduate or Chartered member of IOSH or working towards would be beneficial
  • A background in auditing using ISO 45001 and ISO 14001Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 would be an advantage
