As the Financial Controller you will be leading on all financial matters from revenue recognition, production and stock accounting, AR, AP, preparation of statutory accounts, tax, treasury, insurance, cash management and external banking, audit and insurance broker relationships. Your new role As the Financial Controller you will report directly to the CFO. And have the management of a small finance team. This position will naturally form part of the senior leadership team for the finance function. Due to the nature of this organisation revenue recognition, production and stock accounting will feature heavily. However cash management, forecasting and liaising with internal and external stakeholders will be required. Covering all aspects of the day to day transactional areas of finance such as AR and AP, monthly accounting activities and system improvements. This breadth of this role will also include tax, treasury, funding and insurance. Benefits The role is offering a base salary of up to 100k per annum, pension contributions, 26 days holiday entitlement and free car parking on-site. Post COVID the successful candidate is expected to work in the office 3 days per week and has the ability to work from home 2 days per week. However due to the seniority of this role this requirement will naturally require flexibility. Skills and experience to be successful A qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Experience of revenue recognition, production accounting and stock management. Knowledge of doing the basics in finance well (AR, AP, statutory accounts, cash flow management and forecasting). Tax.
