Post Probationary Rate (Skilled Rate) – £12.35
Shift Premium – £2.09 (Per Hour)

Number of Working Hours – 39 (Average per week)

Shift Pattern – 3 shift rotational pattern (late, early and night shifts, Monday – Friday)

The Role

Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Fruit Processing Production Operative for our Histon site. In Histon, we manufacture a host of ambient sweetspreads and jellies for our grocery brands. These includes Hartley’s jams and jellies, Gale’s honey, Rose’s and Robertsons marmalade’s.

The fruit processing operative role is fairly manual but crucial in our preserves process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for tipping fruit into the plant to supply our Preserves and Business to Business departments.
• Responsible for upholding high standards of health and safety and food safety.
• Ensuring the quality of the product produced.
• Semi autonomous in controlling your area / asset.
• May be required to work in other areas of the factory when required when business requirements permit.
