The V&A’s Development Department plays a pivotal role enabling the V&A to realise its ambitions. Within the Department, the Grants team raises significant funds from trusts, foundations and public sector grant-giving bodies to towards the V&A’s priority projects, including capital work, exhibitions, learning programmes and acquisitions.
As we look to deliver an increasingly ambitious programme of work, we are seeking a Grants Officer to join the team and support us in achieving our goals.
Reporting to the Senior Grants Manager, the Grants Officer will be responsible for providing exceptional supporter care and administration across our supporter engagement and care activities. You will also support the team with prospect research, funding applications and reports, private events and exhibition openings, and other supporter communications.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially writing, have experience of working in a dynamic office environment, be highly organised and have a proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards fundraising.
