Head of Finance

* Head of Finance * Hinckley * 55000-63000 A highly respected and successful business based in Hinckley is currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly business which has a family feel to it but has an impressive 100million turnover. As part of the Senior Management Team, the main function of this role will be to manage the finance department with a total of 18 staff, including 6 direct reports, and streamlining improvements not limited to but including systems and process improvement. Ideally you will; * Have previous experience of leading a Finance team and be able to motivate staff to embrace change * Have prior experience of producing and reporting on monthly (and annual) management accounts, and providing financial and strategic support to other departments * Have prior experience of completing year-end audits, and controlling and reviewing balance sheets, and monitoring the day-to-day financial operations of a business * Previous experience of implementing/upgrading a new finance system would be beneficial * Have strong IT skills including modelling and advanced analysis * Be qualified either ACCA/CIMA/ACA In return you will; * Have the opportunity to work within a highly respected business within a supportive, friendly team * Receive excellent company benefits including an 8k car allowance, 23 days holiday and hybrid working * Be able to work for an employer who is committed to encouraging career development for their staff * Have development opportunities in the role and work in an organisation where your voice is heard.
