Head of Omnichannel – Victoria and Albert Museum

The V&A – the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance – is looking for a Head of Omnichannel. This is a pivotal new role, responsible for delivering the V&A’s overall omnichannel strategy and approach.

The Head of Omnichannel will establish and lead a new department, to work collaboratively across the V&A and lead the evolution of our sales channels (online, mobile and onsite), bringing them together for the first time in one seamless shopping experience that underpins the V&A’s brand and commercial strategy.

Major areas of responsibility will include leading the V&A’s eCommerce strategy and setting sales targets; evolving the V&A’s Contact Centre as our central point of customer service; and optimising online ticketing and donations across all areas & venues.

A key member of the senior management team in the V&A Audience, Commercial and Digital division, the Head of Omnichannel will be responsible for thought leadership and defining best practice across the V&A’s family of museums including the V&A in South Kensington, and the V&A’s new museums under construction – Young V&A in Bethnal Green, and two new V&A East sites on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London.
