Title: Assistant Accountant Location: Manchester / Remote Job Type: Full time Salary: 25,000 – 35,000 The role of Accountant will involve performing general accounting and reporting activities on behalf of the respective businesses in accordance with Group Accounting Policies and requirements. Identifying improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided. Accountant duties: Provide appropriate and timely financial reports. Provide routine and ad-hoc analysis as requested by site operations. Processing of standard and non-standard journals. Ensure that all general ledger accounts are reconciled on a timely basis Analyse and resolve any un-reconcilable items on a timely basis Ensure activities are completed on timely basis to meet reporting deadlines Identify areas of improvement to facilitate a smarter close process Accountant person specification: Applicants will have experience as either an Assistant Accountant, Financial Accountant or Accountant.
