Summary
Are you looking for the next step in your career? We are looking for Lead Support Workers to join our team in the Frome area. As a Lead Support Worker you will be working out of our community outreach hubs delivering 121 support in the community and also group work in The Hub. This role would ideally suit someone with care experience looking for career progression and happy to do lone working.
About the role:
Your role will be to help the people you are supporting achieve their goals, which includes engaging in the activities they enjoy. You will be supporting people to interact with their local community and with activities such as bowling, going to the cinema, visiting Harry Potter world, going on trips and anything else they may want to do. As part of helping with all these wonderful things people will also need assistance to go to the toilet or administer medication. It is your role to ensure the people you are supporting are living the lives they choose and on a day-to-day basis.
We will also provide you with a phone and tablet to support the flexible working and to keep records up to date. You will be part of a team that meets regularly and will also have support from colleagues and the managers. Being a driver is essential for this role.
