Legal Operations Manager

TSR Legal is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to join the Legal Operations team at a highly regarded Legal 500 Cardiff law firm. In this role, you play an instrumental role in the implementation, review and development of the Firm’s operations infrastructure, striving to ensure operational excellence, continuous improvement and sound project management and delivery. Key Areas of Responsibility Operational Excellence Drive continuous improvement through, increasing productivity, improving efficiency, and embedding best practice across the firm. Identify, create, and improve legal workflows, focusing on efficiency and scalability. Work alongside the Operations Director to embed the legal operations structure and framework and be an active member of the Operations team. Update operational policies and associated processes when required. Sourcing and implementing legal technology and tools. Contribute to the firm’s operational strategy. Take a leading role in client onboarding for the department Manage operational risk for the Firm’s service lines and commoditised products. Assist in preparing reports and operational metrics. Management of the centralised support team to ensure internal service levels are achieved. Managing system and process changes effectively. Support the firms Facilities strategy, ensuring that all offices and remote working environments are fully supported Monitor, support and where necessary manage the workloads and priorities of the admin team to maintain service excellence to the Practice Areas Continuous Improvement & Project Management Drive the progress of strategic projects, liaising with key stakeholders and reporting on key milestones. Examples of projects include: Core system improvement/development Data quality improvement and analytics Paperless working Maintaining Lexcel accreditation Supporting legal team operations, project/matter tracking and team and professional development. Work in collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve operational excellence in respect of fee earning teams’ compliance with SRA regulations. The Person You will be an experienced Legal Operations Manager with commensurate knowledge of the legal industry.
