Materials Planner

MATERIALS PLANNER CAERPHILLY 27,000-30,000 MONDAY-FRIDAY Our client, a global manufacturing company, are looking for a Materials Planner to join their team. The role of the Materials Planner is to plan, manage and call-off for raw, auxiliary and operating materials as well as production-related services and goods. RESPONSIBILITIES System-based material planning and validation of results, such as definition and maintaining of all relevant levels and order limits for consumption-controlled materials. Preparation of regular demand forecasts for materials/supplies for internal and external stakeholders. Local requisition and purchase order management for relevant materials and services following SOX rules, trade compliance and customs regulations. Searching for problem solutions in case of deviations in quantities, delivery dates or materials Processing of purchase complaints in the area of responsibility Inventory responsibility for materials or categories including transferring material to other sites. Support for monthly closing and annual inventory process Reporting and analysis of defined KPI’s for the related material management processes to achieve continuous improvement. Active participation in projects to improve processes and IT systems in the material management area.
