As part of the pre-admission and triage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe pathway of each patient from the pre-admission stage to surgery. You will be responsible for safe admission planning, making sure that all admission requirements are in place prior to patients arriving at the hospital, and incorporating discharge planning and health education into patient care. About The Candidate You will be an experienced NMC registered Nurse having previously worked in pre-assessment environment with demonstrable competent clinical judgement. Your understanding of infection control and health and safety issues relating to theatre along with your knowledge of when to refer patients to an anaesthetist will be key in this role.
