Job Description
This role responsibility is for a fully trained operator to operate packaging machines within a small team in the St Neots Plant
- To operate and run production lines and equipment to achieve agreed performance levels in terms of Quality, Rate and Yield, EH&S, Hygiene and House Keeping.
- Ensure communication and information flows are effective and timely
- Provide feedback to support maintenance/process-related decision making.
- Work with and support the shift team in the timely trouble-shooting of process problems
- Support the Team Perforamance Leader to ensure best practices including SOPs are understood and followed
- Participate in the continuous performance improvement of the Barrier Extrusion operation to achieve Best-in-Class capability and beyond.
- Maintain a high level of understanding regarding new developments in products and processes.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of operating machinery and working in a production environment
- ability to understand standard operating procedures
- Effective Communication skills.
