This client is one of the market leaders in the telematics data management industry, supporting the motor insurance and automotive sectors in multiple countries worldwide. The company has been growing organically for many years and now invested a significant amount of its funding in its development team. They now have an exciting opportunity for a QA Engineer to join their rapidly growing agile team.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

As a QA engineer, you will be there to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

Your responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.

* Communicating clearly with internal stakeholders, including architects, developers, designers, product managers and customer services

* Working on cutting-edge, innovative products in an entrepreneurial environment

* Collaborating with developers in a close-knit, fun environment

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Experience in Automation Testing is highly essential
2. Hands-on experience in defining test strategy/approach, test cases
3. Practical experience in working with a variety of business personnel, developers and management
4. Excellent understanding of developing testing artefacts, such as test plans, test cases and mind maps
5. Experience working in an Agile environment
6. Experience with test-driven (TDD) or behaviour driven development (BDD) practices
7. Agile, ISEB or ISTQB Software Test certification would be at an advantage but are not essential requirements.
8. Excellent understanding of automation tools such as Selenium
