Site Agent – Brownlee Dean

Brownlee Dean are working with an established civil engineering contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Site Agent to deliver waste water treatment projects in York.

Suitable candidates will have a strong and stable major infrastructure employment history and will have worked with either Tier 2, or Tier 1 contractor on either drainage, waste water treatment or sewer projects.

From an engineering background the project involves relaying existing sewers at depths 4 – 5m in unstable ground where dewatering techniques will be employed.

Candidates must be adaptable and flexible in their attitude and application to the role and also be a proactive, problem solver.

• Day to day management of project as site lead, including management of Site Engineer and General Foreman to ensure timely delivery of the project
• Production of works programmes.
• Monitor site productivity, RAMS and costings.
• Driving activity to ensure outcomes are achieved
• Client progress meetings
• Maintain and update health and safety records.
• Progress reporting to the Contracts Director

Experience and Qualifications:

Applicants must have the following to be considered for this role.

• HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline
• CSCS Card
• 5 Day SMSTS Certificate
• First Aid at Work Certificate
• Environmental & H&S Awareness
• A stable employment history with either a Tier 1, or Tier 2 civil engineering contractor.
• Client facing
• A high level of commercial and contractual awareness
