Job Summary:
Position Summary: Under general supervision the Application Specialist has the ability to work alone on regular duties while referring appropriately to manager or other resources for escalation or support. The Application Specialist should exhibit customer service skills necessary to provide ongoing remote or on-site support of end users. The Application Specialist possesses strong communication skills adapted to the requirements of the customers.
- The Application Specialist when assigned, is able to support clinicians and providers 1:1 to enhance knowledge and skill with clinical EHR applications.
- Acts as a liaison between the end user and information systems resources.
- Stays current with application knowledge and seeks out opportunities to keep current on applications that are supported.
- Collaborates to provide customers with ever-improving support for use of technology and processes.
Requirements:
- Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
- 3-5 years experience
