Job Title: POWER BI_Data analyst (contractor)

Job description:
Responsibilities:
Develop/Support MS PowerBI based reports.
Execute data queries across multiple data sources (Excel and/or Data Bases) in support of business intelligence reporting needs.
Format query results into PowerBI graphics.
Design, develop, and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analysis and dashboards, identifying KPIs to drive key business decisions.
Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
Able to analyze complex data and communicate the resulting insights with clarity.
Apply expertise in statistical inference, data mining, and visual presentation of data to help inform and support our business and product decisions Develop models, reports and dashboards and monitor the validity of the data across various data stores.
Maintain and organize shared documents and schedules for business operations organization.

Additional Skills and or education:
Qualifications:
Experience with analytical tools supporting data analysis and reporting (Tableau, MS Power BI, PowerApp, Power Automate and Microsoft’s InfoPath and SharePoint Online tools).
Extensive experience using SQL.
Ability to effectively work with internal teams across numerous functions and Levels.
Ability to quickly Learn complex business processes and understand the underlying transactional systems.
Expert in MS Excel, SQL and MS PowerBI for advanced data analysis and visualization.
Familiarity with Quick base and statistical analysis methodologies is a plus.

Years of experience required for this position:
2-3 years.
Education: Four-year undergraduate degree in computer science/software related major preferred
