Previous dental/orthodontic experience with knowledge of Softdent and Orthotrac preferred, X-ray certification a plus, but a great attitude and a strong work ethic are our first priorities. Computer and accounting knowledge along with people skills are important. Primary responsibilities:
*Scheduling patients and maintaining daily office work flow
*Setting up financial arrangements for dental/orthodontic treatment, collection of payments
*Obtaining patient insurance benefit information, submission of claims, follow through
*Professional communication with other specialist offices
*Comprehensive front desk management
*Ordering and maintaining supplies
*Practice promotion/patient education
*Dental assisting as needed
*Take radiographs and run sterilization as needed to help with work flow
Qualifications:
*Must possess workplace maturity and the capability to use professional discretion with confidential information.
*Must work well in a team environment.
*Must be able to manage time effectively.
*Strong communication skills for both patient contact and inter office communication
*Ability to set priorities, work independently, and produce detail-oriented materials in a consistent, efficient and timely manner.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, (Softdent and Orthotrac a plus), computer skills

COVID-19 considerations:
All patients are pre-screened via a Covid 19 questionaire and in accordance with PA travel restrictions. Temperatures are taken prior to being seated. A hygroden peroxide rinse is given to all patient’s pre-procedures. Covid Vaccinations are encouraged.
